WEEE refers to waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) Directive (2002 / 96 / EC). In directive 75 / 442 / EEC, "waste" is defined in detail, and it is modified in Directive 91 / 156 / EEC. In fact, waste refers to all categories of products in Annex I of WEEE Directive, even if the product does not reach the end of service life, As long as it is discarded by consumers, it is regarded as waste.
WEEE certification is applicable to the following products:
1. Large household appliances;
2. Small household appliances;
3. Information technology and telecommunication equipment;
4. Consumptive design;
5. Lighting equipment;
6. Electrical and electronic tools (except large static industrial tools);
7. Toys, leisure and sports equipment;
8. Medical equipment (except for all implanted and infected products);
9. Monitoring and control equipment;
10. Vending machine.
WEEE certification registration process:
Step 1: submit the application
