BSMI certification in Taiwan
The BSMI certificate holder must be a local company in Taiwan, and the test report must be issued by the BSMI approved laboratory in Taiwan. Generally, the CCC code of tax code is used to determine whether it falls into the control scope of BSMI, and the CCC code is provided by the manufacturer. CCC code, the standard classification of commodity of the Republic of China code, is similar to the international H.S code.
According to different products and certification requirements, BSMI can be divided into the following three certification modes:
1. TA, type approval
Applicable to electrical and electronic products, EMC + safety. It is suitable for manufacturers producing a variety of products. It adopts the method of batch by batch inspection, and the customs needs to charge additional inspection fees for each purchase. The certificate is valid for 3 years and can be renewed once.
2. RPC (registration of product certification)
Applicable to electrical and electronic products, EMC + safety. It is applicable to the manufacturers that produce single products and have to sell them for a long time, and there is no additional charge for each subsequent customs purchase. There is an annual fee. The certificate is valid for 3 years and can be renewed once.
3. Doc, declaration of conformity
Customers declare themselves and apply to BSMI for payment. It is only applicable to it equipment parts and components products, and is in charge of EMC + safety. However, it may need to be retested due to the need to change the standard.

Certificate validity period:
1. Ta (type approval): the certificate is valid for 3 years and can be renewed once.
2. RPC (registration of product certification): the certificate is valid for 3 years and can be renewed once.
3. Doc (Declaration of conformity): certificate, but it may need to be retested because the standard needs to be changed due to the age. Factory inspection requirements: generally, factory inspection is not required. Only for the verification login (2 + 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 mode), it can provide the information that meets the requirements
ISO Certificate is exempt from factory inspection.
Requirements of the holder: it needs a local registered company or local agent in Taiwan to hold the certificate
BSMI authentication login application:
Those who apply for verification and registration shall fill in an application form and submit the following documents to the inspection authority or the entrusted commodity verification agency (hereinafter referred to as the verification authority or agency)
1、 Copies of company registration, business registration, factory registration certificate, ID card or other equivalent establishment registration documents. However, this restriction shall not apply if the identity of the applicant has been registered with the certification authority (Organization) and has not been changed.
2、 Statement, type test report, relevant technical documents, copy of quality management system registration certificate or factory inspection report conforming to applicable conformity assessment procedures.
3、 Other relevant data and technical documents of conformity assessment procedures designated by the Bureau of standards and inspection.
