2. Compulsory third party conformity assessment is required.
3. The organization providing conformity assessment is carried out by the EU conformity assessment organization, and you have not transferred your conformity assessment documents from your EU organization to the UK accreditation body by January 1, 2021.
4. It is not in the UK before January 1, 2021.
How to use the ukca logo correctly?
1. A responsible person needs to be appointed in the UK.
2. The products with ukca logo must be prepared and signed by the manufacturer or authorized representative. It should be noted that the British regulations (BS standard) rather than the European Union regulations (EN standard) should be listed in the British declaration of conformity.
3. The technical documents shall be kept for 10 years after the products are put on the market.
4. The height of ukca sign shall be at least 5mm, and the sign shall be clearly visible, and it shall be permanently attached from January 1, 2023.
5. Transitional measures: before January 1, 2023, you can choose to paste the ukca logo on the product or attached documents.
Like the CE mark, once the UK enacts laws to implement the ukca mark, it is necessary to comply with the relevant rules and add the compliance mark on the product label, packaging and instruction manual.
