Korea KCC certification

KCC is the abbreviation of Korean Communication Commission, whose function is similar to FCC in the United States. KCC certification was implemented in 2008. It is a certification system designed by the Korean government to protect the domestic radio wave environment. It is mainly to reduce personal injury and property loss caused by unnecessary radio waves, as well as communication failure and equipment misoperation caused by other equipment or external radio waves. From January 1, 2010, products imported to Korea need to obtain KCC certification. If the product to be imported to Korea has not passed the KCC certification but is in the process of application, the Korean customs will require a declaration letter stating that the product is applying for and waiting for KCC certification (the KCC certified product is not required to provide this declaration letter).
