EU rohs2.0

From July 22, 2019, all electronic and electrical products (except medical and monitoring equipment) exported to Europe shall meet the rohs2.0 restriction standard. It is a part of CE certification, and the products entering the European market need rohs2.0 certification (ce-rohs certification).
RoHS, its full name is "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment", that is, the directive to restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in electronic and electrical equipment. It is a mandatory directive made by EU legislation. Except for the medical equipment and monitoring equipment which are exempted from special exemption, almost all the products containing electronic components need to meet the requirements of RoHS directive.
The difference between RoHS and RoHS 2.0:
RoHS regulates the use of electrical and electronic products that may contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in all production processes and raw materials, including white household appliances, black household appliances, power tools, medical electrical equipment, etc. Four phthalate esters (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DiBP) were added to RoHS 2.0.
RoHS 2.0 limit substances:
Lead (PB) 0.1%
Mercury (Hg) 0.1%
Cadmium (CD) 0.01%
Hexavalent chromium (CR VI) 0.1%
Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) 0.1%
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) 0.1%
Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) 0.1%
Toluene butyl phthalate (BBP) 0.1%
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) 0.1%
Diisobutyl phthalate (DiBP) 0.1%
