IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada, which is responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. Its control product range includes: Radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, engineering medical equipment, etc. At present, IC only has mandatory requirements for electromagnetic interference. Therefore, IC certification is the pass for electronic and electrical products to enter the Canadian market.
IC certification mode:
1. Self verification and certification can be used.
2. IC ID: CN (company number, up to 6 digits) + UPN (unique product number, up to 8 digits).
Note for ID Application:
1. Address information of Canadian representative is required.
2. The label should contain the following information (manufacturer's name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).

Relevant standards of IC certification:
1. The standard of IC certification is basically the same as that of FCC. At present, IC only limits EMI.
2. Ices-001: industrial, scientific and medical radio frequency generators.
3. ICES-003 digital terminal equipment: interference causing equipment standards digital accessories, such as ices003: ite: products and computer peripheral office equipment, etc.
4. IC RSS series transmitting and receiving equipment low power radio frequency products. For example: RSS 210, applicable products: wireless mouse and keyboard, wireless remote control toys and all kinds of low-power radio frequency products, cs03 (telecommunication terminal product PSTN).
