BIS certification in India

Since July 2013, bis (bureau of Indian Standards) has stipulated that 52 kinds of products must be subject to compulsory registration. The products must be tested and registered in the specified standards in the local laboratories of India recognized by bis, and after the successful registration of BIS, Only by printing the words "self declaration – forming to is... (relevant Indian Standard) Registration No. XX... XX" on the label or the smallest package of the product can it enter the Indian market, otherwise the goods will not be cleared.
The BIS Bureau of India announced in September 2017 that photovoltaic products will need to pass bis certification to be sold in the Indian market from April 1, 2018. Photovoltaic products include solar photovoltaic panels, photovoltaic inverters and energy storage cells. India's market is growing rapidly, but India's bis compulsory certification has become a problem for many export enterprises: not only the cost is high, the time is long, but also often delayed.
