The quality inspection center for safety and police electronic products of the Ministry of public security was established in 1987, and the quality supervision and Inspection Center for special police equipment of the Ministry of Public Security (formerly the quality supervision and Inspection Center for police equipment and uniforms of the Ministry of Public Security) was established in 1999. On this basis, the national product quality supervision and Inspection Center for security and alarm system (Beijing) was officially listed in 2005. Approved by the Political Department of the Ministry of public security, the center is a multi-disciplinary and multi-professional technical service institution with the status of third-party notarization, authorized by the China National Certification and Accreditation Administration Commission, qualified in measurement certification and recognized by the China National Accreditation Commission for conformity assessment. It is a comprehensive national laboratory integrating measurement, calibration, supervision, inspection and inspection.
Administratively, the center is subordinate to the first Research Institute of the Ministry of public security. Its business work is directly led and guided by the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine, the science and Technology Information Bureau, the equipment finance bureau and relevant business bureaus of the Ministry of public security. It is a contracted laboratory between China Quality Certification Center and China safety technology prevention Certification Center, It undertakes the inspection of compulsory certification (CCC) and voluntary certification of security products. The testing scope of compulsory certification includes four categories and eleven products. It is the only inspection institution in China that can carry out compulsory certification testing of all eleven security products. Many senior technicians of the center serve as members of the national security alarm system standardization technical committee, the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee, the national vibration impact speed measurement technical committee, the Special Police Equipment Standardization Technical Committee of the Ministry of public security, and the computer and information processing Standardization Technical Committee of the Ministry of public security, He is an expert of the expert committee of China security products industry association and a special 3C factory inspector of China security technology protection certification center.
