Battery en 62133 test

Battery en 62133:2017
Safety requirements for secondary batteries and batteries containing alkaline or other non acid electrolytes, portable sealed secondary batteries and their batteries for portable applications.
The EU official website has begun to accept the en 62133:2017 standard, and the old en 62133:2013 standard will be invalidated on March 14, 2020; If the battery is sold separately in the EU, it is recommended to directly make a new version of EN 62133:2017; If the battery is installed in the terminal equipment and sold in the EU, please pay attention to whether the terminal equipment standard accepts the new version of IEC / en 62133:2017.
The CE certification standard of lithium battery is en 62133-2:2017, and some test requirements are as follows:
1. Continuous charging test, which clearly indicates that the 7-day charging test is carried out under the standard charging voltage;
2. Shell stress test, pointing out that this test is only applicable to the case where the battery uses molded shell;
3. For the external short circuit test of the cell, the ambient temperature is changed from 20 + / - 5 degrees to 55 + / - 5 degrees, which is more stringent;
4. For the external short circuit test of the battery pack, the ambient temperature is changed from 55 + / - 5 degrees to 20 + / - 5 degrees, which becomes loose, and the concepts of key component certification and important functional safety assessment are introduced;
5. Drop test, add optional drop surface as metal;
6. Heat abuse test. The maintenance time to reach the maximum temperature is uniformly required to be 30 minutes;
7. For extrusion test, the force range shall be more accurate, and the shape variable shall be deleted as the test termination condition;
8. The battery pack overcharge test is changed to single cell battery pack with 1.4 times the charging voltage (but ≤ 6V), and multiple cells are connected in series with 1.2 times the charging voltage, which is looser than the previous version;
9. Forced discharge test, which adds the requirements of discharge voltage and reference test time according to discharge curve;
10. Mechanical test, increase vibration and acceleration impact, and cancel the requirements of previous reference transportation standards IEC 62281 and UN 38.3;
11. Mandatory internal short test, no requirements for button battery;
12. Other test requirements
