CPC certification is the English abbreviation of children's product certificate. The CPC certificate is similar to the domestic quality inspection report. After passing the relevant inspection and Issuing the report, it can be issued with a paper certificate. The certificate lists the import / export information, commodity information, relevant inspection items that have been done and the regulations and standards on which they are based. When Amazon platform launches some categories of products (such as children's toys, baby products, etc.), businesses will be required to upload CPC certificates at the same time. Relevant children's products without CPC certificates shall not be sold online.
At present, children's toy products and mother and baby products exported to the United States need CPC certification certificate and CPSIA report for customs clearance. Foreign online merchants Amazon, eBay and express also require Chinese made children's products, toy products, mother and baby products to apply for CPC children's product safety certificate.

SPSC has published a total of 38 standards, mainly involving the following test contents:

2. American toy standard ASTMF963;
3. Safety standard for electric toys 16 CFR Part 1505;
4. Requirements for bell ringing toys 16 CFR Part 1510;
5. Nipple safety standard 16 CFR Part 1511;
6. Flammability of children's clothing and carpet, such as 16 CFR Part 1610; 16 CFR Part 1615； 16 CFR Part 1616
7. Children's products: product standards for strollers, cribs, fences, straps, safety seats, bicycle helmets, etc.
Information to be included in CPC certificate:
1. Product information;
2. All laws and regulations applicable to the product;
3. Information of importer or manufacturer (U.S. territory): including name, address and telephone number;
4. Contact information of the file holder supporting the test results of the certificate: name, address, email address and telephone number（ Generally, it can be understood as manufacturers outside the United States);
5. Production date and address of the product. The production date must be to month and year, and the address must be to city;
6. The test time and address or the test report based on the certificate.
