Torque test is to test the mechanical properties of metal fasteners, including the torque resistance of bolts, screws and studs. The purpose of testing is to test the torque resistance of bolts and nuts. Breaking torque refers to the torque when bolts, screws, etc. are cut under the action of this torque. The maximum installation torque can be understood as the maximum force that can be used to tighten the screw during installation.
Torque test is mainly applicable to bolts and screws that cannot be subjected to tensile test.

test method
The error of all length measurements shall not be greater than ± 0.05mm. For all tensile tests, a testing machine with automatic centering of the collet shall be used to avoid any transverse load on the test piece. The lower collet used for the test shall be hardened thread collet, its hardness shall not be lower than 45hrc, and the tolerance of internal thread shall be 5h6g.
