Canada NRCan certification

NRCan introduction natural resource Canada (NRCan) Natural Resources Canada, compulsory certification.
Natural Resources Canada is responsible for the formulation of national energy efficiency regulations. Canada requires that all products entering Canada must have energy labels, and the laboratories providing certification tests must obtain their authorization. The Canadian label is referred to as EEV mark (energy efficiency verification mark), NRCan has authorized certification bodies to conduct certification tests on products that require energy efficiency control to enter Canada. The manufacturer must submit samples to the authorized certification authority for testing to obtain certificates, and the products shall be labeled with the certification authority's label on Canadian energy efficiency.
The main contents of NRCan certification enhance the requirements and control scope of "low energy efficiency standards" for the following seven categories of products:
Electric motor;
Domestic gas boiler;
Domestic kerosene boiler;
Dry type transformer;
Large air conditioning facilities and heat pumps;
Commercial integrated refrigerator;
Incandescent lamp with reflector;
New requirements for low energy efficiency standards and reporting matters of the following products are put forward:
Standby energy consumption of electronic products
-Audio products
-TV, monitor, etc
-Video playback products
External power supply
Digital TV adapter
Electric boiler
Single stereo air conditioning and heat pump
