In recent years, China's mould proof products have developed rapidly. Mildew growth / mildew resistance rating
Grade 0 --- there is no obvious mildew under about 50 times of nominal exposure;
Grade 1 --- mildew is invisible or difficult to see with the naked eye, but it is obvious under the microscope;
Grade 2 --- mold growth is not obvious to the naked eye, but the coverage area on the sample surface is less than 25%;
Grade 3 --- mildew is clearly visible to the naked eye, and the coverage area on the sample surface is > 25%.
Testing conditions and cycle of mildew resistance
The temperature of mould proof test shall be controlled at 25 ~ 30 ℃, and the relative humidity pH ≥ 90%. The test cycle standard shall be 28 days, which can be extended to 84 days in case of special needs. However, even if some molds are inoculated on the medium suitable for growth, it will take 5-7 days to grow well. Therefore, the test cycle of product anti mildew grade and anti mildew performance shall be subject to the actual situation of the laboratory of the testing institution.
